President Elect Donald J. Trump’s Acceptance Speech

New York, NY…After a historic election season that has been unlike any in American History the now President Elect Donald Trump set a conciliatory tone in his acceptance speech. It was given a few minutes after Hillary Clinton had called him and conceded. Now it is up to him to try and bring a deeply divided nation back together and bandage up the deep wounds in the nation’s psyche that this campaign cycle has inflicted. His speech early this morning was a first step down that path.

At 70 years old President Elect Trump is the oldest man ever to be elected to our nations highest office. If the non-stop flurry of activity during the last few weeks of this campaign is any indication he won’t be using old age as and excuse is setting a light agenda for his administration. If fact he doubled down on some of his campaign promises tonight in his speech.

Donald J. Trump will be sworn in as the 45th President of the United States on January 20th, 2017
